Audio/Video - Wanna hook up your ride with a killer audio/video system? We have everything you need to upgrade your current audio/video system-receivers, speakers, subwoofers, amps, enclosures, monitors -from brands you trust and respect like MTX, Pioneer, Clarion, Panasonic and more. Aftermarket sound systems are one of the most popular mods enthusiasts make to their rides. So whether you're just looking for more bump or a custom set-up that will rock your next show, we have what you need.
Factory Speakers (even the "premium" ones) will never match the sound you get from aftermarket speakers. Aftermarket speakers are sold in two forms - full-range and component - and are made from high-tech materials like Mylar, Aramid, and silk. Full-range speakers come in 2 (high/low), 3 (high/low/mid) or 4-way (super-high/high/low/mid) and are designed to drop into the factory speaker openings. Component speakers usually come in a set of 4 individual speakers (2 highs, 2 lows) that can be mounted any which way you desire. Component speakers provide greater detail and clarity and are the ultimate necessity in a custom set-up.
Subwoofers provide that rich bass sound we all know and love. They range in size from 6 to 18 inches and the size you choose depends on your preference. Smaller subs may sound cleaner, but bigger subs will be louder. Subwoofers also come in materials from paper to plastic, even metal (the more durable the material, the better detail in sound).
Amplifiers are a necessity if you're looking for serious bass. The more watts from your amp, the louder the sound can go without distortion. Typically, you should start with 100 amps, but larger and more subwoofers need more power. A single amplifier can usually power both main speakers and a subwoofer.
Receivers can give you anything from music to DVDs, engine management to navigation. The receiver you choose is ultimately up to you, but if you're looking to take your system to the next level, be sure to get a receiver that can accommodate all of your needs.
